The Board of Christian Education and the staff of Central Baptist Church Sunday School work hard throughout the year to accomplish its mission of preparing our children and families to live in Christ. Through the various programs described in the following pages we provide a full range of education opportunities to enhance the worship experience.
Through the generous contributions of past and present members of Central Baptist Church, we are able to award college scholarships to church members to assist in paying for education expenses. The amount of each scholarship will vary according to available funds and the number of applicants.
Scholarship Criteria
1. The applicant and/or immediate family must be an active participant(s) of Central Baptist Church.
2. The applicant must demonstrate a commitment to living a Christian life.
3. Applicant must maintain a minimum “C” average.
4. Applicant may receive up to four (4) undergraduate scholarships and two (2) graduate scholarships.
All members of Central Baptist are eligible to apply. Scholarships will be awarded on June 9th Children’s Sunday. Deadline for applying is May 12th.
